Fired from her job and evicted from her apartment, Martee brings herself and her asthmatic son to Zambales for a vacation. In a dilapidated resort, owned by Lance, Martee finds work as a manager whose duties entails plans on how to increase the resort’s clientele. At first, Martee finds difficulty adjusting to the slower provincial lifestyle, but eventually she finds the laid-back pace more favorable.
